Welcoming Our New Accounting Intern
We are thrilled to announce that Giselle Gutierrez has joined the R&H CPA, EA team as our newest Accounting & Operations Intern!
This exciting addition to our firm is made possible through the U.S. Bank Student Microenterprise Support Fund Scholarship. Established to uplift aspiring current and former San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) accounting students, this fund bridges academic ambition and practical industry experience. We are proud to collaborate with program partners and donors to provide hands on mentorship, client advisory exposure, and direct operational experience to rising professionals in our community.
Meet Giselle Gutierrez
Giselle is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran. While serving, she channeled her passion for business into higher education, earning her Associate of Science in Accountancy from San Diego Miramar College.
Building upon that milestone, Giselle transferred to San Diego State University, where she is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Concurrently, she serves with Miramar College’s Career & Life Design Services, coordinating event logistics and supporting fellow students as they navigate their career paths and employment opportunities.
Looking ahead, Giselle plans to earn her Master’s in Accounting and achieve her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure. Through her internship at R&H CPA, EA, she is eager to apply her technical coursework to real world client engagements, financial operations, and tax and advisory services.
Outside of school and the office, Giselle enjoys embracing the San Diego lifestyle, spending time with her partner and their two dogs, visiting local farmers' markets, and relaxing near the water. Whenever it's time to unwind, you can often find her watching a favorite show while assembling a new LEGO build.
